We Need Your Help!
Let’s preserve this place that we love – the beach, the neighborhood and the ocean! It’s time to join your neighbors and clean up Roads End Beach and our neighborhood.
REIA is partnering with SOLVE to sponsor a first-ever Combined Beach and Neighborhood Clean-up on Saturday, April 17, from 10 am – 1 pm. At this time, we have enough sign-ups for the beach clean-up, but volunteers are still needed for the neighborhood clean-up. Both events will adhere to CDC / SOLVE Covid-19 safety guidelines, including mask wearing at all times, social distancing, and pre-registration to avoid crowds on the day of the event. Volunteers will have the option of bringing their own bucket or bag or using the SOLVE supplies. REIA members will be stationed at the 73rd Street beach access, Roads End State Park, and NW 50th & Jetty Street to help volunteers pick up supplies or drop off your filled debris bags.
