The 2019 Roads End Beach clean-up is in the books. A huge thank you to Janet Knipe for organizing and managing the event.
While the high tide overnight may have resulted in the ocean claiming trash that otherwise would have been collected, there's also a good chance people are being more responsible and taking their trash with them on the 4th. REIA volunteers handed out 30+ Solve bags the evening of July 4th and only a few were left at the drop off points so it's likely they were used to haul trash off the beach. That's a good thing!
