  • Getting a home security check - Call the Lincoln City Police (541-994-3636) and ask if they'd be willing to come to your house and perform a security check. More information here on the City's website.

  • Installing a home security system - A home alarm system is one of the top ways to deter burglars from targeting your home.

  • Installing security cameras - Put burglars on the defense by recording their every move.

  • Getting motion activated lights - Illuminate shadowed part of your home and access points with motion-activated floodlights.

  • Installing strong doors - Nearly 70% of burglars enter your home through a door. Install thick, solid wood doors that will be hard to kick in.
